Ian Scotland - Head of Development
Ian has a 2:1 degree in Computing and Psychology from Wolverhamption University, so he knows all about what computers are feeling! He spent his early working life as a researcher at Loughborough and Leicester universities where he witnessed the birth of the world wide web as we know it now. Ever since, he's been developing websites under different guises until setting up Ultimateweb Ltd with Ben in April 2002. Ian and Ben go back a long way having both played Ultimate (Frisbee) for various teams in the Leicester area for the last 15 years which gives rise in part to their company name.
Henry Ruhl - UI Developer
With a 1st degree in Computer Games Programming, Henry knows how usability and appearance are equally important to functionality. He specialises in converting clients' artwork designs into HTML and then bringing them to life with our platforms.
Ben Ravilious - Sales & Marketing
With a background in programming, Ben co-founded Ultimateweb Ltd with Ian Scotland in 2002. Ben is good at listening to customers and explaining often complex technical things in a way that anyone can understand. Ben represents Leicester Civic Society on the City Centre Management Board and uses his technical expertise to help promote the city. Like Ian, Ben enjoys a bit of frisbee as well as taking photos of Leicester.
