Ben Ravilious - Director

With a background in programmimg, Ben co-founded Ultimateweb Ltd with Ian Scotland in 2002. Currently responsible for sales and marketing, Ben is good at listening to customers and trying to explain often complex technical things in a way that anyone can understand. Like Ian, Ben enjoys a bit of frisbee as well as taking photos of Leicester and generally taking an interest in the heritage and regeneration of the city.

Ian Scotland - Director

Ian has a 2:1 degree in Computing and Psychology from Wolverhamption University, so he knows all about what computers are feeling! He spent his early working life as a researcher at Loughborough and Leicester universities where he witnessed the birth of the world wide web as we know it now. Ever since, he’s been developing websites under different guises until setting up Ultimateweb Ltd with Ben in April 2002. Ian and Ben go back a long way having both played Ultimate (Frisbee) for various teams in the Leicester area for the last 15 years which gives rise in part to their company name.

Leroy Robertson - Web Developer

After deciding to pursue a career in IT/software development, Leroy studied a BTEC in Software Engineering at Leicester College and then studied Software Engineering at Sheffield Hallam for 3 years and achieved a 2:1 degree. He’s been with Ultimateweb for nearly 2 years and now works on web development.

Ian Ridley - SEO Specialist

Ian has 4 years’ experience of researching, improving and implementing SEO techniques for Ultimateweb's clients. He has a PhD in Physics, and became interested in web site promotion after he helped to build websites for local government and voluntary organisations. Ian says, "We offer the transparent, logical and effective SEO service that I found so difficult to source when I was building websites."
